Knife care and warranty

These knives are made by hand to the highest standard with all my attention to detail and strength. Just like factory knives however there are limits to what a knife can handle. Take these care guidelines to heart, they will keep your knife in top condition and avoid damage.

• Always dry these knives and wipe them down with a bit of weapon oil after every use.

• Avoid exposing the knife to strong acids, chemicals and industrial solvents.

• Never machine wash any high quality knife, it will damage the steel and handle eventually.

• Heavy use, batonning, chopping and prying might roll or chip the edge or tip.

• Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and high heat can damage or discolour the knife.

If at some point the blade starts to show wear and scratches you can send it back to me and I will do my best to refresh it if possible. I will happily do this free of charge for any of my original customers, shipping you will have to pay for yourself though.

Completing and sending in the contact form constitutes a binding agreement, from that moment the knife will be reserved for you and a formal transaction will proceed.

Knives are sold on a first-come-first-serve basis. The product will be shipped insured with utmost care in packed rigid containers. Prices of the knives exclude shipping and possible taxes. Once ordered I will discuss shipping options with you and send in agreement with the tracking information shared.

I ship my knives expertly sharpened, be aware and handle with appropriate care. All my knives are sold ‘as is’, the maker cannot guarantee its condition beyond what is visible on close inspection. If hidden flaws cause the knife to fail then the maker will do the very best to help, but there are no rights or duties that can be claimed directly from it. The maker can not be held accountable for any damage or injury caused to the knife, property or the user(s) by improper use, failure or maintenance. By buying this knife you agree to all these terms and conditions. The maker reserves the right to refuse service at any time.
